This year, America is celebrating the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. To celebrate the historic milestone, we’re sharing stories of individuals involved in organizations in West Allis who have made a large impact in our community through volunteerism, charitable giving, community leadership, and other meaningful contributions.

West Allis Women's Club Nomination: Lynne Loosen
Lynne Loosen brings so much energy and positivity to our organization. She is always willing to lend a hand in all Woman’s Club events. If she can’t physically attend, she makes sure to contribute. She is a very supportive member, and she is one of many in this club. She shares information on the status of Hope Ministries located in Mt. Hope Lutheran Church. Mt. Hope is our meeting place, and we are closely tied to this organization. Her personal ties to Mt. Hope started with joining the parish and helping to implement Vacation Bible School at the church.
In 2016, the organization Mt. Hope Ministries was started. Lynne Loosen was one of two people who started the Mt. Hope Closet and is a strong ambassador for Hope Closet. From fundraising to grant writing, and helping create systems within Hope Closet that have greatly improved the process of meeting the needs of West Allis clients of Hope Closet.
