Spring 2026: Community in Focus
The City of West Allis and the Community Impact Partnership and Foundation are hosting a five-session leadership workshop to provide West Allis residents and business owners with an opportunity to develop their leadership skills and explore real community challenges. Each session will focus on a key issue impacting the city, offering participants the opportunity to work alongside community leaders, organizations, and residents to develop practical ideas, pilot concepts, or strategic recommendations. The goal is not only leadership development, but tangible community benefit.
Session themes will include:
Increasing Civic Involvement
Youth Voice and Intergenerational Leadership
Housing Stability and Community Care
Public Gathering Places and the Power of “Third Spaces”
Economic Opportunity and Small Business Vitality

The sessions will be held on Thursdays, Feb. 19, 26, Mar. 5, 12, and 19 from 6-8 p.m. at Aurora West Allis, 8901 W. Lincoln Ave.
Registration is open to West Allis residents/business owners and will be limited to 20 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. Sessions will consist of presentations, discussion panels, and interactive small group work. Please be sure you can commit to all 5 sessions in this series before registering. When registration is full, a waitlist will be created for a future series.
