Due to the extreme weather conditions predicted for Friday, Jan. 23, garbage and recycling collection will be canceled. Friday’s collection will resume on Monday, Jan. 26. Crews will be working on an adjusted schedule next week, Jan. 26 through Jan. 30.
Below is a chart to help you determine when to set out your garbage and recycling. Find your scheduled collection day in the first column, then set out your garbage and/or recycling by 7 a.m. on the first day listed in the second column. If your items are not collected on the first day listed, collection will take place the following day. It is important to note that collection pick-up times will vary due to the compressed collection schedule.

The Municipal Yard drop-off will also be closed on Friday, Jan. 23 and Saturday, Jan. 24 due to the extreme weather temperatures.

Office hours and drop-off hours are subject to change due to staffing or weather.
Please make garbage and recycling carts accessible to crews. Carts that are frozen to the ground or buried in snow can cause injury to the collection crew or damage to the cart if they attempt to move the carts.
