Our 2025 Community Food Drive has officially wrapped up, and once again, the West Allis community has demonstrated its generosity and compassion for those in need. Throughout November and December, residents, businesses, and community partners came together to support neighbors experiencing food insecurity.
Donors contributed more than $1,500 to the Community Impact Partnership and Foundation, which in turn distributed $4,500 - providing $500 each to the nine participating West Allis food pantries.
Eight collection sites served as community drop-off points for non-perishable food donations, totaling approximately 5,000 pounds of food. Donations were distributed to the following partners: Mount Hope Lutheran Church, Aurora West Allis Food Pantry and Resource Center, First Lutheran Church, St. Barnabas Catholic Congregation – Holy Assumption site, First United Methodist Church, Apostle Presbyterian Church, St. Matthias Catholic Church, Mother of Perpetual Help Parish, and St. Peter’s Episcopal Church.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to every donor, volunteer, partner organization, and collection site host who made this effort possible. Local food pantries have expressed deep gratitude for the community’s support, noting that the need for assistance continues to grow. Your contributions are making a meaningful difference for families across West Allis, and your continued generosity strengthens the well-being of our entire community.
