In late October, the West Allis Police Department conducted targeted traffic enforcement to help reduce reckless driving in the City. Locations were chosen based on crash data that included a high rate of driving behaviors associated with reckless driving. During the two 4-hour deployment periods, officers conducted 47 traffic stops, resulting in 51 citations and 14 written warnings.
