Fall officially started this week, so that means it's time for fall Public Works updates.

The Morgan Avenue Drop-Off Site
The drop-off site at S. 116th Street south of Morgan Avenue will close for the year at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 26. It will reopen next year on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. Learn more on the City Dump and Drop-Off page.

Fall Yard Waste Collection
Fall yard waste collection begins on Sept. 28 and runs through Sunday, Nov. 16. During this timeframe, yard waste materials such as leaves, weeds, flowers, vines, and other non-fruit or vegetable material can be placed in the curb-line of the street. After this date, yard waste can be brought to the Municipal Yard. Learn more about the do’s and don’ts on the Yard Waste Disposal page.

Brush Collection
Brush collection ends on Friday, Oct. 3. Now is your last chance to place brush, sticks, trimmings, and branches out on your scheduled recycling pick-up day for collection. Limit one cubic yard. After Oct. 3, brush can be brought to the Municipal Yard, but charges may apply. Learn more on the Brush Collection page.
