We know the community is eager for updates on the Liberty Heights Park wading pool and pavilion. Here’s the latest on where things stand:
Wading Pool
We’re working to open the wading pool as soon as possible. This year, the pool required new grates, which have been ordered and are currently pending delivery and installation. Once installed, we’ll be able to move forward with opening the pool. The pavilion restrooms are not yet available for use. In the meantime, a portable toilet is on site for park visitors.
Pavilion
The pavilion will open once we receive official occupancy approval. We’re currently finalizing a few remaining items to ensure the structure meets all building, plumbing, and electrical codes. We're also completing the installation of an electronic locking system for the exterior restrooms.
