West Allis Dog Park Project
West Allis Dog ParkAt this time, the creation of a dog park in West Allis is in the early stages of development. Many residents have expressed enthusiastic support of this project, and the City is considering their request.

A location has not yet been determined, but Milwaukee County Parks - including McCarty Park, Greenfield Park, LaFollette Park, and Rainbow Park - cannot be used for this project. The City is reviewing potential locations on City-owned land and in existing City parks, and we are gathering resident feedback as we begin to consider this project.

Next Steps - Volunteer Group Meeting April 11
The next step in moving this project forward is organizing two volunteer groups to help. One group will focus on planning, and one will focus on fundraising. Join us on Wednesday, April 11 at 6 p.m. in the Common Council Chambers at West Allis City Hall, 7525 W. Greenfield Ave., if you are interested in volunteering for one of these groups.
