Warrant Officers maintain the disposition of all warrants and commitments entered by the Police Department. Other duties performed by the Warrant Officers include arresting individuals with outstanding warrants, processing extraditable warrants of individuals arrested from other states, transporting prisoners to the Criminal Justice Facility, picking up prisoners from other jurisdictions and correctional facilities throughout Wisconsin, performing circuit court liaison duties when the Court Liaison Officer is unavailable, acting as bailiff for West Allis Municipal Court several days a week, serving summons and subpoenas for the City Attorney’s Office, and assisting the Patrol Bureau with calls for service as needed.
These officers are available to answer phone calls (Monday - Friday, 6:45 am -2:45 pm) regarding questions about warrants through West Allis Police Department, as well as work with citizens that have numerous unpaid parking citations and need help in paying their tickets.
