Mind Alert: Effective Techniques for Enhancing Mental Fitness

Recent research shows that stimulating your brain can keep you mind healthy and active. Robert Best, NHA, will share various techniques to keep mentally fit and cognitively alert. Computer Classes
Learn about browsing the Internet, setting up and using an email address, using Microsoft Word, resume writing, and online job searching. Participants are also welcome to suggest their own topics for future courses. Registration is preferred, but walk-ins are welcome if space is available. Coloring Club

Getting Crafty
Mondays, 7 PM

Like to make things or looking to try something new? Join us for our Getting Crafty sessions. We will be making something different each session. Each free session is limited to 25 participants, ages 18 and up. To register, call (414) 302-8500 or stop by the Adult Information Desk. Registration opens after the previous session has taken place

Books & Coffee
A casual, Saturday morning book club for adults is starting this spring! Join us once a month at 10 AM in the Conference Room for a cup of coffee and a book discussion. An RSVP is requested, but drop-in are welcome.

Leisure Learners at the West Allis Public Library

     The West Allis Public Library Leisure Learners Programs are for adults who enjoy
viewing films and slideshows relating to travel, history and other subjects of general interest. Programs are held the second and fourth Monday of each month in the Constitution Room of the West Allis Public Library. Presentations begin at 10:00 am and last for approximately one hour.
