The Former Home Juice Area includes four parcels of land located on the west side of S. 113th St., just south of W. Greenfield Ave.  The District contains 1.77 acres.  Due to environmental contamination between two of the District's parcels, the area had been unable to redevelop into a higher and better use.  The parcels could not have been cleaned up in isolation and the creation of the District ensured that complete remediation took place.  In conjunction with TIF resources, grant funding and private investment assisted the commercial redevelopment of the area.
