Best Porch Award
The Forestry Division provides staff support for the Public Beautification Committee and sponsors the annual awards for the Best Porch program.  Best Porch Awards are given to recognize homeowners for their efforts of displaying flowers, flags and other decorations on their porches.

The recipients of the Best Porch Awards are selected by the West Allis Beautification Committee in July and honored at a ceremony held in September. In addition to the award, a sign is posted at each property and the City’s Communications Office creates video highlighting each property. This video may be viewed on City 25, our cable television station, throughout the year and on the City’s website.
