The West Allis Senior Center promotes a healthy quality of life where aging is viewed as natural, positive and purposeful. Older people retire to new roles, if desired, or continue working in a variety of ways. People begin to plan for later interests and activities and the maintenance of relationships as valuable keys to the fulfillment in aging. Overall, our vision is to challenge the growing population with knowledge and responsiveness.

The West Allis Senior Center provides services focused on the recreational, social, and personal needs of older adults. The Senior Center is operated by the City of West Allis under the administration of the Health Department and the governing and policy making body of the Commission on Aging

Membership in the West Allis Senior Center is available for an annual fee of $20.00 for West Allis-West Milwaukee residents or $25.00 for non-residents. Day passes are available for $1.00 for guests. The West Allis Senior Center sponsors regular weekly classes and ongoing group activities in addition to special events and tour outings. Some classes require participants to provide their own materials; other classes may have an additional fee. Membership is open to anyone age 55 or older and his/her spouse of any age. Members may be from any community and are not required to be West Allis residents.
