  1. Donate Blood, Save Lives, and Receive a Ticket to the State Fair!

    July 11, 2019, 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ City Hall, Common Council Chambers

    The Blood Center of Wisconsin will be holding a blood drive on Thursday, July 11 from 3 - 7 p.m. in the West Allis City Hall Common Council Chambers, 7525 W. Greenfield Ave. All attempting donors will receive one ticket to the Wisconsin State Fair as a thank you for being a beacon of hope to patients in need! Appointments are encouraged! Reserve your spot online by clicking the link below, or call 877-232-4376 to reserve your spot over the phone. Walk-ins are always welcome and the Blood Center of Wisconsin staff will find you the next available spot. Refreshments provided. Please bring a photo ID with your birth date. Your donation can make a difference and save lives! We hope you choose to donate with us!

  2. Summer Jam Concert Series

    July 11, 2019, 7:00 PM @ Veterans' Memorial Park

    Join the City of West Allis and our partner, the Peanut Butter & Jelly Deli, for a family-friendly series of free outdoor concerts on select Thursdays this summer at Veterans' Memorial Park! Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and come hungry, because the Peanut Butter & Jelly Deli and local food trucks will join each concert. The West Allis-West Milwaukee Recreation & Community Services Department's Operation Recreation will be on hand with activities for kids of all ages. Join us for a fun night of food, music, and fun!   1. 'Preserving Our Memories' A creative grief therapy group

    July 11, 2019, 1:00 PM - 2:15 PM @ Senior Center

    Create a detailed memory book that incorporates personal and symbolic objects is quickly becoming a preferred activity for people dealing with loss. We invite you to join us for this free 4-week group session where you'll create such a book. No special skills are required. Participants need only bring in photos and other mementos to work with, understanding that some items may need to be cropped or otherwise altered to fit in the memory book pages.
