    Join Gensler consulting and City of West Allis staff for the second of two community meetings designed to inform and engage residents about the Hwy 100 study. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 5:30 p.m. at Lane Intermediate School, 1300 S. 109th St. in West Allis. Based on findings and feedback from earlier milestones in the study, Gensler will present a draft of a plan for redeveloping the Hwy 100 corridor.

    This fun social group generally meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 9 a.m. Participants pay for their own meal, including tax and tip at area restaurants.   2. Wrapped Fabric Baskets

    November 13, 2019, 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM @ Senior Center

    On Wednesdays, November 6 and 13 from 1 – 2:30 p.m., Sandra Steckler will teach participants how to use strips of fabric to cover rope and create lovely baskets. This technique is fun and easy to do, but requires sewing skills. Member’s cost is $3; includes all materials needed to complete one basket. Registration and payment deadline is Friday, November 1. Class size is limited.
