    July 19, 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM @ Veterans' Memorial Park

    July 19, Steve Beguhn, a pop/indie artist, will be playing. Make sure to bring you own lawn chairs and blankets. Street parking will be available, as well as lot parking by the Police sub-station. Concerts can be canceled last minute due to weather or other conditions beyond the city's control. We hope to see you there!

    Kids in K5-5th grade can join in our Library Makers programs. Each session we make and create something new. In this session, we are trying to protect our "crash test dummies" (water balloons).   10. Amazing Art with Mary Tooley

    July 23, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM @ Library, Children's Story Room

    2nd-5th graders, sign up to create some amazing art pieces. The final session is 'Elephant Extravaganza!' The people in India paint their elephants with beautiful designs for parades. We can't paint a real elephant, but we will draw elephants and decorate them with amazing designs. We will also add sparkles and other collage materials to make the elephants look like they just have stepped out of a parade. Don't worry, everyone can learn to draw an elephant....and we will have many elephant toys and sculptures to model for us! Each session is limited to 25 participants, so be sure to register starting on June 1 (call or stop in the Children's Department).
