CAAD Community Alliance Against Drugs
CAAD West Allis

The Community Alliance Against Drugs (CAAD) is a community organization supported by the West Allis Police Department. 

CAAD logoThe mission of CAAD is to provide a working forum for members of the community to receive, discuss, and develop educational and recreational programs to deter substance abuse. CAAD encourages participation by all in an effort to increase the sensitivity of the community to the problems associated with the abuse of alcohol and other drugs, and works to help eliminate those problems.

CAAD sponsors numerous events throughout the year.  These low cost, family-friendly events are open to CAAD members and non-members alike.

Past events have included:

  • Winterfest
  • Milwaukee Admiral’s Hockey Game
  • Milwaukee Brewer’s Baseball Game
  • Tuesday Nights in the Park
  • BBQ & Swim Night
  • Halloween in the Park
  • New Year’s Family Night

CAAD Scholarship
The West Allis-West Milwaukee CAAD Scholarship is awarded to high school seniors residing in West Allis or West Milwaukee who will be graduating this year. Awards are based on service to the school and community, as well as achievements for students pursuing a career in the following fields: education, health, public service, or safety. Preference will be given to students who have been active participants of CAAD. Learn more and download the application.

CAAD Membership
A CAAD family membership is $20.00 per year or $10.00 per individual. A family includes two adults and dependent children under the age of 21. Membership entitles you to free or low cost admission to most of the above events.

Upcoming Events:

Ice Skating at the Pettit Center  - Sunday, Jan. 6 | 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. | NOTE: THIS EVENT IS FULL
Join CAAD for a fun afternoon on the ice at the Pettit National Ice Center, 500 S 84th St. CAAD will skate from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. This event is for CAAD members only and is free including skate rental (you may also bring your own skates if you prefer). This event was limited to 100 skaters and is full.

Winterfest - Saturday, Feb. 2 | 6 - 9 p.m.| Nathan Hale High School, 11601 W. Lincoln Ave.
Join CAAD and the West Allis Police Department for Winterfest. CAAD members enjoy free admission and a free meal. $5 per person admission and additional food costs for non-members. Activities included are inflatable attractions, DJ music, Swimming, Basketball, Carnival Games and Photo Station. Low-cost concessions will also be available. 

Help "warm up" other families and bring a non-perishable food item to be donated to a local food pantry. 

All children must be accompanied by an adult.
