The deadline for homeowners and renters in Milwaukee, Washington, and Waukesha counties to apply for FEMA Individual Assistance is Wednesday, Nov. 12.
Apply any of the following ways:

By phone: FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362
In person: Visit a Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) or Disaster Survivor Assistance (DSA) location: In-Person Support Resources.
Appeals: Residents who have applied but disagree with FEMA’s decision or award amount can submit an appeal within 60 days of the date on their FEMA letter. Appeal information is available at FEMA.gov/appeal.

SBA Disaster Loans – Deadline: Nov. 12, 2025
Businesses, nonprofits, homeowners, and renters in Milwaukee, Washington, and Waukesha counties may also apply for low-interest disaster loans through the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) to help repair or replace damaged homes, personal property, or vehicles.
Additionally, Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL) are available to small businesses and nonprofits in Dodge, Fond du Lac, Jefferson, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Sheboygan, Walworth, Washington, and Waukesha counties.
Physical Damage Loan Deadline: November 12, 2025
EIDL Deadline: June 11, 2026
