How are signs approved in the City of West Allis?
Applications for new or modified signage are submitted to the Department of Development for review of compliance to the City's Signage Code, in terms of quantity, size, design and location. Applications are then forwarded to the Building Inspections and Neighborhood Services Department for the issuance of a Sign Permit to install the approved signs.
