Community Blood Drive 

The Blood Center of Wisconsin will be holding a community blood drive at City Hall on Monday, April 30, from 3-7 p.m., in the Council Chambers. 

Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins are welcomed.

Land Lord Training Program

Landlord Training Program 

The West Allis Police Department will be sponsoring a FREE Landlord Training Program. Through this training, landlords will learn ways to screen potential tenants, how to protect their investment, how to draft contracts, when and how to evict trouble tenants, and much more. The goal of this program is to:
  • Better educate all landlords to prevent landlord-tenant problems
  • Address tenant and neighborhood issues
  • Inform you of City codes
  • Explain police response

District 2 Alderperson Vacancy 

The Common Council has decided that the vacant alderperson seat in District 2 will be filled through interview & recommendation by the Advisory Committee and appointment by majority vote of the Council. All interviews will be open to the public, and all applications are public record.

Dine and Dash

Third Annual Dine and Dash

Get your team ready to eat and run in the third annual Dine and Dash, Saturday, May 19, 2018!

Each team has all day to complete Dine and Dash challenges at 19 Eat West Allis restaurants and shops. Each restaurant will prepare one item that each team needs to eat or drink (one person can take it for the team, or you can share). This fast-paced tour of our restaurants and retailers is also a fundraiser, with all proceeds being donated to West Allis food pantries.

Pins for the Parade

Pins for the Parade Fundraiser 

Each year, the West Allis Christmas Parade sub committee hosts the "Pins for the Parade" bowling fundraiser, with all proceeds going toward the Christmas Parade. 

There is a $25 entry cost for bowlers, which includes three game with shoes, prizes, and buffet style appetizers, dinner, and dessert. 

Registration for bowlers is due Monday, April 30. 

Pins for the Parade will be held on May 5, 2018, at Riviera Lanes, 86th and Greenfield Ave. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun!

West Allis Farmers Market Opening Day 

The West Allis farmers Market is a regional destination offering locally produced products, and hosts numerous community events throughout the year.

The Market will open for the season on Saturday, May 5, from 1 - 6 p.m. 

Shop fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetables, fresh meats and eggs, honey and maple syrup, fresh cut flowers, perennial plants, and prepared foods.
