Free Flu Vaccines for WA/WM Students

free_flu_shots_for_kids.jpg
The West Allis Health Department will again be providing FREE flu shots to all WA/WM students in K-3 thru 12th grade Tuesday October 9, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Nathan Hale School, 11601 W. Lincoln Ave., while supply lasts.

The CDC recommends that everyone 6 months and older get vaccinated against the flu yearly. Take advantage of this special flu clinic to get your school-age child vaccinated before peak flu season.
  • Regardless of insurance
  • No appointment necessary
  • Parent/Legal Guardian needs to be present to sign consent
  • Flu shots available for Parent/ Guardian - $30 (cash, check)
  • Billable to Forward/Medicaid/ Medicare cards only.
Use these tricks to make sure the flu virus is too scared to hang around your house:
  1. Wash hands frequently with warm water and soap for 20 seconds (the time it takes to sing the “Happy Birthday” song twice).
  2. Cough into elbows, not hands where germs are more likely to be spread.
  3. Eat right, exercise, and get plenty of sleep to help boost your body’s ability to fight off colds and the flu.

Please complete the forms below and bring with you, or you can complete them at the time of your visit.
