District 2 Alderperson Vacancy

Using its statutory authority, the Common Council has decided that the vacant alderperson seat in District 2 will be filled through interview & recommendation by the Advisory Committee and appointment by majority vote of the Council. The appointment will be for a period ending in April of 2019, at which time a special election will occur to determine who will serve in the position for the remainder of the 2016-2020 term. All interviews will be open to the public, and all applications are public record.

Applications must be completed by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1st.   If you are interested and have questions, please contact the City Administrator at rgrill@westalliswi.gov or 414-302-8294. or the City Clerk at sbraatzjr@westalliswi.gov or 414-302-8220
