Virtual Veterans Giving Tree Through Dec. 20

Virtual Veterans Giving Tree_NewFlash

The City of West Allis is overjoyed to once again sponsor the Veterans Giving Tree project this year. The Veterans Giving Tree project honors veterans from the Milwaukee VA who do not have families by fulfilling their modest gift requests this holiday season.

Due to the current state of COVID-19, we are going virtual this year. There's no need to come in to City Hall to choose a star! Click here to choose your virtual star by clicking the 'Sign Up' button corresponding to the veteran you would like to purchase a gift for. Select 'Submit and Sign Up' at the bottom of the page to commit to purchasing your vet's gifts.

Once you pick a star virtually, purchase the requested gift and return the wrapped gift to the Milwaukee VA Medical Center, at the East Entrance aka Main Entrance. 5000 W National Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53295. The last day to select a vet and return the gifts is Sunday, Dec. 20.

Gifts must be wrapped, labeled, and dropped off on the following dates during the drop-off times listed:

  • Saturday, Dec. 5
    • 8:30-10:30 a.m.
    • 11:30-1:30 p.m.
    • 2:00-4:00 p.m.
