Founded in the mid-1980s, the West Allis Community Improvement Foundation (WACIF) is a non-profit charitable organization that aims to promote cultural, recreational, civic and public improvement programs and services. The community-based foundation operates with a small team of seven board directors, including Mayor Dan Devine, and operates as a larger team with community members who are interested in volunteering. Supported by donations of only money and services, the programs WACIF creates help to preserve, foster and enhance the economic and social well-being of all the residents, businesses and organizations in the community of West Allis. They strive to add quality, substance, and meaning within the community, making West Allis a progressive and enriching city to live, work and grow in. Click here to learn more.
