  2. Traveling Beer Garden: McCarty Park

    June 27, 11:00 AM - July 8, 10:00 PM @ McCarty Park

    The Milwaukee County Parks Travelling Beer Garden is making a stop at McCarty Park, from June 27 to July 8. Their exclusive beer partner, Sprecher, offers an ever-changing selection of craft beer and hard sodas at each of the stops on the tour. Cider, wine, Shakparo (Sprecher's gluten-free beer), and non-alcoholic beverages are also available. Enjoy live music Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday evenings at the garden.   3. Summer Concert Series

    June 28, 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM @ Veterans' Memorial Park

    June 28, The Tom Brusky Band, a polka band, will be playing. Make sure to bring you own lawn chairs and blankets. Street parking will be available, as well as lot parking by the Police sub-station. Concerts can be canceled last minute due to weather or other conditions beyond the city's control. We hope to see you there!

    Calling all teen writers! Join us for one or all five sessions of a writers camp this summer. We'll have writing prompts and talk about our work. Whether you write poetry, short stories or non-fiction, we'll have something for you! Writers Camp is open to students in grades 6-12 or ages 12-18 that live in Milwaukee County
