  2. Leisure Learners Presentation: Aurora, Fire in the Sky (DVD presentation)

    The lights of the aurora in the Polar regions are a source of endless wonder, both scientifically and in countless accounts of oral history. This film takes the viewer on a journey into the science and folklore about these celestial lights.

  3. Amazing Art with Mary Tooley

    June 25, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM @ Library, Children's Story Room

    2nd-5th graders, sign up to create some amazing art pieces. The first session is called 'Pop Up Pictures.' Things will be popping up all over when we learn how to make pop up pictures at the library. Everyone will be able to turn a 2D piece of paper into 3D scene. All you will need is your imagination and lots of our great art supplies. Each session is limited to 25 participants, so be sure to register starting on June 1 (call or stop in the Children's Department).
