  2. Becoming a Love and Logic Parent

    Becoming a Love and Logic Parent is a six-week highly regarded national parenting program that incorporates discussion and videos. Parents learn how to share control, give kids choices, and communicate to reduce power struggles. This program is effective for parents of toddlers to teens. The training sessions will occur every Wednesday night starting March 7 through April 11 from 6 - 7:45 p.m. There is limited space, so be sure to register as early as possible.     This storytime is for children who are 9-23 months old and a caregiver. Each session includes age appropriate songs, rhymes, and books. Following each storytime, there is a short playtime. Registration is required and can be done in person, online, or by calling the library at 414-302-8502 starting January 2.

    The Plan Commission consists of the Mayor and seven citizen members who are appointed by the Mayor for three year terms.The Plan Commission is responsible for guiding the orderly development of the City through oversight of both current and long range City Planning activities consisting of the following: Land Use Planning; Site, Landscaping and Architectural Review; and, Comprehensive Planning.Meetings are convened on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 6:00 pm.The Plan Commission is supported by staff from the Department of Development, Planning & Zoning Division.
