  1. Pocket Billiards

    September 12, 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM @ Senior Center

    Play billiards from 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday at the West Allis Senior Center (billiards may be cancelled if a special event is scheduled in the lower level). A donation of $.25 per session is requested. These funds help maintain the billiards equipment. Open to all Senior Center members.

    Senior Center members are invited to quilt together in this informal group. Quilters may bring their current projects and share advice and ideas to keep skills strong and creativity flowing.

    Drop in and color for awhile! Adult coloring is a popular trend that is relaxing and fun. Materials are provided, or bring your own and join in the fun. Free for all Senior Center members.

  5. Senior Meal Program

    September 12, 11:30 AM - 2:00 PM @ Senior Center

    The Milwaukee County Department on Aging Senior Meal Program is open to all seniors aged 60+ and their spouse of any age. Advance reservations are required by noon the day before. Call 414-289-6995 to reserve a meal. Participants are encouraged to contribute $3 per meal to help defray program expenses.   7. Living Well with Chronic Conditions

    September 12, 1:30 PM - 4:00 PM @ Senior Center

    Want relief from aches, pains, or fatigue? This six week workshop will help you gain control of your life through management action plans and support from peers. Topics include dealing with frustration, pain and isolation; exercises for maintaining strength, flexibility and endurance; appropriate use of medications; communication with family friends, and healthcare professionals; evaluating new treatment options; and healthy eating. This program was developed by Stanford University and is supported by the Milwaukee County Department on Aging and the Wisconsin Institute for Healthy Aging. Living Well with Chronic Conditions is Free. Senior Center members and the public are welcome. Registration required at 414-302-8700.
