    Come watch 'Captain Underpants' on October 27 at 2:30pm. This film is rated PG and 89 minutes long. Children 6 and under must have an adult present. Kids are welcome to bring a pillow or blanket. Registration is not required.

Senior Center Programs & Activities

  1. Pocket Billiards

    October 27, 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM @ Senior Center

    Play billiards from 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday at the West Allis Senior Center (billiards may be cancelled if a special event is scheduled in the lower level). A donation of $.25 per session is requested. These funds help maintain the billiards equipment. Open to all Senior Center members.

  2. Walk With Ease

    Looking for relief from arthritis pain? Just want to be active? The Arthritis Foundation's Walk With Ease program can teach you how to safely make physical activity part of your everyday life. Walk With Ease is designed to help people living with arthritis better manage their pain, but it's also ideal for people without arthritis who want to make walking a regular habit. If you can be on your feet for 10 minutes without increased pain, Walk With Ease may be for you. Classes are one-hour each, three times per week for six weeks.

  3. Arthritis Exercise Classes

    October 27, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM @ Senior Center

    Join Shirley Laux, certified Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program Instructor, for these gentle exercise classes. Relieve arthritis pain through gentle motion and activities designed to help increase joint flexibility and increase range of motion, while gaining muscle strength. These sessions feature gentle stretching, low intensity aerobics and chair exercises. Free for all Senior Center members.

  4. Senior Meal Program

    October 27, 11:30 AM - 2:00 PM @ Senior Center

    The Milwaukee County Department on Aging Senior Meal Program is open to all seniors aged 60+ and their spouse of any age. Advance reservations are required by noon the day before. Call 414-289-6995 to reserve a meal. Participants are encouraged to contribute $3 per meal to help defray program expenses.
