Day Time Parking Permits

Residential Disabled Parking Zones

Where access to a motor vehicle used by a physically disabled person, as defined in Section 346.503 of the Wisconsin Statutes, in front of his residence is rendered difficult by reason of existing parking conditions. If you wish to apply for a permit, please contact the Engineering Department at 414-302-8360.

Commercial Disabled Parking Zones

Where access to a motor vehicle used by a physically disabled person in front of or adjacent to a business establishment is rendered difficult by reason of existing parking conditions. If you wish to apply for a permit, please contact the Engineering Department at 414-302-8360.

Loading Zone

A loading zone is defined as that portion of a public street adjacent to a curb or property line reserved for the exclusive use of vehicles loading or unloading passengers or material. If you wish to apply for a permit, please contact the Engineering Department at 414-302-8360.

Special Parking Zone

A Special parking zone is defined as that portion of a public street adjacent to a curb or property line where parking is limited to thirty (30) minutes or less. If you wish to apply for a permit, please contact the Engineering Department at 414-302-8360.

Oversized Load Permits

If you have an oversized load travelling through West Allis, call the Engineering Department at 414-302-8370.

Dumpster Permits

Permits need to be obtained in person at the Engineering Department, which is located on the Second Floor of West Allis City Hall.  Dumpster permits may only be paid for in cash or check.

Occupancy Permits

Anything in the City's right-of-way, such as PODS, vending boxes, utility poles, private tree removal vehicles, bus shelters, silt fence, etc. need a permit with the Engineering Department. Please contact Greg Bartelme at 414-651-8840 or by email.

Private Driveway Permit Application

Property owners will need to fill out this application to add a new driveway approach or re-do their existing approach Contact Greg Bartelme at 414-651-8840 or by email.

Engineering Services Agreement

Property owners will need to fill out this form if public utilities are impacted or needed for a new site development or redevelopment. This agreement is needed for the City of West Allis to provide engineering services for these utility adjustments.

Permit to Construct, Maintain, or Repair Utilities in City Right-of-Way
