Day Time Parking Permits
Permits need to be obtained in person at the Engineering Department, which is located on the Second Floor of West Allis City Hall. If you have questions if you are eligible, please contact Greg Bartelme at 414-651-8840 or by email.

Residential Disabled Parking Zones
Where access to a motor vehicle used by a physically disabled person, as defined in Section 346.503 of the Wisconsin Statutes, in front of his residence is rendered difficult by reason of existing parking conditions. Residential On-Street Parking Zone for Physically Disabled Application
Commercial Disabled Parking Zones
Where access to a motor vehicle used by a physically disabled person in front of or adjacent to a business establishment is rendered difficult by reason of existing parking conditions. If you wish to apply for a permit, please contact the Engineering Department at 414-302-8360.
Loading Zone
A loading zone is defined as that portion of a public street adjacent to a curb or property line reserved for the exclusive use of vehicles loading or unloading passengers or material. If you wish to apply for a permit, please contact the Engineering Department at 414-302-8360 or fill out the following form:
Special Parking Zone
A Special parking zone is defined as that portion of a public street adjacent to a curb or property line where parking is limited to thirty (30) minutes or less. If you wish to apply for a permit, please contact the Engineering Department at 414-302-8360.

Occupancy Permits
Anything in the City’s right-of-way, such as PODS, vending boxes, utility poles, private tree removal vehicles, bus shelters, silt fence, etc. need a permit with the Engineering Department. Private Driveway Permit Application
Property owners will need to fill out this application to add a new driveway approach or re-do their existing approach Contact Greg Bartelme at 414-651-8840 or by email. Please note - Fees have recently increased.

Engineering Services Agreement
Property owners will need to fill out this form if public utilities are impacted or needed for a new site development or redevelopment. This agreement is needed for the City of West Allis to provide engineering services for these utility adjustments.
