Development
The Department of Development actively works to enhance the community by expanding the tax base, attracting employment opportunities and improving the quality of life for its citizens. West Allis has become a leader in development in the metro-Milwaukee area by focusing on community growth through the redevelopment of older industrial properties and re-energizing neighborhoods with sound planning and housing programs. The Department also administers Economic Development programs that assist start-up and business expansions.
