After records are compiled, all records are reviewed by a supervisor or designee prior to release. Generally, requests are fulfilled within 10 business days. However, fulfilling requests may be delayed for a number of reasons, such as the requested records are associated with an open investigation or a large number of records were requested. Staff will attempt to notify you when the records are ready to be picked up.
General fees are as follows:
- Public record fees (City of West Allis)
- Miscellaneous fees (City of West Allis Police Department)
- General information and fees (City of West Allis)

You may bring an action for mandamus asking for a court to order release of the records or request the District Attorney or Attorney General to bring an action for mandamus asking a court to order a release of the records.
