Extended Deadline for 2015 Fall Yard Waste Collection
Weather permitting (no snow) and due to a favorable, long-term, weather forecast, West Allis DPW will extend the yard waste pickup deadline to Sunday, Nov. 22.  Residents may place yard waste materials such as flowers, vines, weeds, thatch, garden debris and leaves into the curb line of the street for collection. Do not place materials in the curb line at any other time. For more information see the document library.

Sanitation Information
The Sanitation Section is responsible for the collection of refuse from one through three family residences and recyclables from one through four family residences. Properties are serviced from either a curbside location or an alley location.

Junk mail kits are available to help reduce the amount of unwanted junk mail you receive. Each kit contains three cards to mail which will result in removal of your name from certain mailings lists and phone numbers to call to stop receiving pre-approved credit card offers and to remove your name from mailing brokers' lists. Junk mail kits are available at City Hall, the Library, Municipal Yard and Police Department.

Information regarding refuse collection can be found in Section 7.05 of the Revised Municipal Code and information regarding recycling can be found in Section 7.051 of the Revised Municipal Code.
