Water Utility Billing

The West Allis Municipal Water Utility reads meters and bills customers four times a year by district. District 1 encompasses all properties north of W Greenfield Av, plus properties between W Greenfield Av and W Lincoln Av from S 93 St to the western City limits. District 2 encompasses all properties between W Greenfield Av and W Lincoln Ave from the eastern City limits to S 92 St. District 3 encompasses all properties south of W Lincoln Ave.

Water bills include four separate groups of charges: charges for water and related infrastructures, charges for sanitary sewer system maintenance and sewerage treatment, charges for storm sewer system maintenance and cleanup, and a solid waste fee. 

There are several options for making payments for utility bills.  

  • Online:  Go to to use a credit card or checking account to pay utility bill.
  • Auto Pay:  Payments are drawn directly from a checking account on due date.  Download and Auto Pay Request Form to set up auto pay for your utility account.
  • By Phone:  Credit cards are accepted by calling 855-288-0678.  A fee of $3.50 is added to charge amount for each transaction up to $400.  Multiple transactions can be made using this payment method.
  • Mail:  Send payments to City of West Allis, P.O. Box 14248, West Allis, WI  53214-0248.  Include bill payment stub or statement with payment.
  • In Person:  Payments can be made at Tri City National Bank locations in the City of West Allis or at City Hall.

    • Tri City National Bank/Inside Pick N Save - 6760 W. National Ave.
    • Tri City National Bank - 10909 W. Greenfield Ave.
    • Tri City National Bank/Inside Pick N Save - 2625 S. 108th St.
    • City Hall Treasurer's Office - 7525 W. Greenfield Ave.
  • Drop Box:  Drop payments in the locked drop box near the main door on the south side of City Hall.

The Treasurer's Office collects payment for water and sewer bills. Water and sewer payments received are processed each business day with the account electronically updated for visible confirmation at 8:00 am the following business day.
