  1. AARP Driver Safety Program

    July 18, 12:30 PM - 4:30 PM @ Senior Center

    Seniors are invited to take the new AARP Smart Driver Course to refresh driving skills and learn the new rules of the road, plus learn strategies to stay safe behind the wheel. This class is $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members, payable the day of the class to AARP. Class will be held at the West Allis Senior Center, 7001 W. National Ave. Call 414-302-8700 to register.

    Readers of all ages are invited to stop by the library and join our annual Summer Reading program. Starting June 1st, you can register online or in the library and be rewarded for reading!

    Kids 5 and under can join us in the Constitution Room for stories, songs, rhymes, and a craft at our special Summer Storytimes! Registration is not required.

  3. Kohl's Wild Theater presents A Tale of Two Hemispheres

    July 18, 7:00 PM - 7:45 PM @ Library, Constitution Room

    Join the Wild Theater for two shows in one night! In "Lights, Camera, Arctic!" help Ursus the polar bear slow the effects of global climate change. Then the audience will become pirates to help a Humboldt penguin find its treasure in "The Treasure of the Sea."Numbers will be available starting one hour before the program in the Children's Dept. All ages are welcome. This event is free.
